What is the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) ?

PDPA governs the collection, use and disclosure of personal data by organization in a manner that recognizes individuals' rights and the need of organizations to use such personal data for legitimate business purposes.

  • Full Name

  • Passport number

  • National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) number or foreign Identification number  (FIN)

  • Thumbprint

  • Personal Mobile Telephone Number

  • Iris Image

  • DNA Profile

  • Voice Recording of an individual

  • Photograph or video image of an individual

The PDPA contains two main sets of provisions; namely Data Protection (DP) provisions and the Do Not Call (DNC) provisions.

Enforcing Protection

Momentum Z has a endpoint solution to protect your data privacy with an App that works at the endpoint. No more messy server configuration. Remotely deploy the App.

Data Protection Officer (DPO) would be ensuring the policies and processes are in place. But many times do you know if the employees are following these policies? With heavier fines for data breaches, up to 10 per cent of its annual turnover in Singapore or $1 million whichever is higher.

Organizations are now required by law to inform both the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) and the affected individuals of data breaches.

We are your cybersecurity partner to help review your cyber posture and help enforce these policies and process at the endpoint level.

Our product covers GDPR / NIST as well.
